For now, I’m sharing a styled bridal shoot of the lovely Jenn. In fact, it was shot with another amazingly talented photographer (and good friend of mine) Jennifer Kennedy when I was in Powell River, BC to visit.  I am a little embarassed to admit that we shot this in July 2010. Yeah…I’m a little behind on my blogging. We went to a top-secret location, however if you grew up in Powell River you know exactly where this is. It’s such a gorgeous peaceful spot and I try to go there whenever I make the trip back to PR.  I spent many sun-filled days here with my friends. It’s one of the most naturally beautiful spots I’ve ever seen.

Normally I do a lot of black and white images for my wedding photography but this place was so vibrant and full of life that I kept most of it in color. Jenn and Robb are also vibrantly full of life and love for each other. I felt so excited to shoot with an amazing couple like them.

The Riviera Palm Springs was such an incredible venue…every last detail of the decor was retro-chic and so different. I absolutely LOVED shooting here and would be so happy to shoot there again.

Jenn and Robb – thank you so much for choosing me to be your wedding photographer for your destination wedding in Palm Springs. It was such an honour to photograph your special day, and I feel lucky to have shot in such an incredible wedding venue!

David is an architect and built the amazing property we started shooting at, Punto de Vista Costa Rica. It is stunning!

Note the infinity pool overlooking the rainforest canopy.  Can I move in?I just have no words to describe Sabrina’s beauty. Seriously. She is a stunning woman!The view of Manuel Antonio Bay from Punto de Vista.We ventured down to the beach for a different look, and found a magnificent rock formation.…I guess I should show you how they got up on that rock…

David managed to get up there on his own but little miss Sabrina needed some help! Good thing I bring my trusty sherpa *imean* husband along to assist me when I’m shooting!

And what goes up, must come down. We couldn’t have Sabrina jump into the water so Chad gave her a little help back to the beach.

I could probably fill an entire blog post of every different plant and flower on the property.Lauren’s ‘something borrowed’ was her sister’s Lazaro gown. How sweet is that? It is just gorgeous too, the detailing is so delicate.Bryan is a designer and designed the rings himself! How cool is that?  The rings were produced by Razzouk Wardeh at RW Jewelry DesignBryan also designed the invitations. Letterpress makes my heart swoon! Love the post theme.I adore this moment between Lauren and her sister Nicole. So pure and joyful.The ceremony site before everyone arrived.

Ahh well. At least we had that hut to hang out under! Made for some soft light and some cuddles.

The parasol was such a cute touch and definitely came in handy once the rain died down a little bit. It is made of paper after all.

Wow. I have seriously been neglecting this blog!  I’ve been so busy focusing on my boudoir photography that I never got around to blogging the images from Carol and Phil’s engagement photo shoot in Cabo San Lucas back in February (hangs head in shame).

Well I apologize for keeping these beautiful people from you all, we had a lot of fun shooting their engagement session on the beach outside of the resort.  Hope you enjoy them!

No that’s not a bird, it’s a manta ray! They jump out of the water…it’s funny to see them flopping around in the air.The water *looks* calm, but really the waves were a little intense (and surprised Carol)!
