Paula and I met via social media. I can’t remember if it was through Facebook or Twitter…one of the two. I scored a last minute spot at Jesh de Rox’s Life as an Artform workshop, and since I wasn’t financially prepared for a big trip to Seattle I tried to figure out ways that I could possibly save some money so I could afford to go on this life changing trip. I put it out to the twitterverse that I was looking for someone to share a hotel room with and Paula came to my rescue. We had never met in person before, just had been connected through Facebook and Twitter. Granted, we both were taking big risks by agreeing to share a room since we’d never met before, I mean, look what she got herself into. She had to put up with crazy lil’ me for 4 days! haha!!

Taking chances can really pay off and I have learned this time and time again. I have a new, incredible friend in Paula. She is an amazing, loving, beautiful, strong and intelligent woman that I am proud to call my friend.

We had to reschedule this shoot like 2 or 3 times because of the stupid weather! Paula wanted sunny photos, and since sunshine is my favoritest thing EVAR I was totally cool with rescheduling (yes I just made up a word).

Waiting for this day was SO WORTH IT.

Paula was nice enough to laugh at my dumb jokes, that’s what friends are for.

I have so many favorites from our session but I’d say that this is one of my top faves:

I adore this one too. The warm hazy light is what I live for.

Miss Michaela emailed me because she needed some fun photos of herself that she could use on her website. Michaela is a wedding planner and owns Flair Occasions here in Edmonton. We instantly clicked…we have lots in common and we spent more time chatting than shooting! I had to remind myself that I was supposed to be working! haha!! I feel like I was able to really capture her personality during our shoot. And PS, She’s gorgeous.

My headshot sessions are $250 + gst and include 10 low resolution images for use online (your website, facebook, twitter, etc). If you’d like to book a session to update your public image, send me an email!

I’ve shot a few mini portrait sessions lately for local business people. They all needed updated photos for their websites, facebook, twitter, you name it!

First up is Lynn Carolei, owner of Sublime Swim and Sunwear in St. Albert. She’s also my MOM!

Next we have Conor Salisbury, who is a realtor here in St. Albert.

And last but definitely not least, here is Michaela from Flair Occasions in Edmonton.
